-   ABOUT US  -

With over 23 years of culinary experience and a deep passion for food and its origins, Matt Holland returned to the U.S. two years ago after 16 years in Norway, settling with his wife and daughter in Wright County, Missouri, near Hartville. Holland now co-manages Blue Ribbon Farmstead with business partner Adam Brown, focusing on breeding and raising forested heritage Berkshire pork. Their mission is to produce the finest pork available.

At Blue Ribbon Farmstead, the pork is 100% antibiotic-free and raised outdoors, benefiting from fresh air and shade while foraging on a varied diet that includes nuts, acorns, plants, and roots. This natural diet enhances the flavor and texture of the meat, resulting in superior marbling, exceptional juiciness, and a more tender product with a richer color and deeper, more savory taste than what is typically available in grocery stores.

-  GET PORK  -

Pre-order through email or text directly to discuss questions you have beforehand. See contact info. You will be sent a butcher cut list as well as info about your hog and cut sheet recommendations. Your order can be customized as much as you like. The price you pay is based on the hanging weight after the head, feet and blood etc. have been removed, but before it has been butchered into usable cuts. The hanging weight of a side/half of the pork will often be between 100-140 lbs. Or 200-280 lbs. for a whole. Price is based on per lb. hanging weight and this is inclusive with custom butchering included and no added fees. Blue Ribbon Farmstead raises pork in small batches so we have limited availability. If you are interested, place a pre-order quickly to reserve yours today.
